Hi – I’m Catie. My sisters taught me sewing basics when I was a little girl, and I started making some of my clothes in grade school.
Quilt-making came along in high school, circa the 1970s. We had some old quilts around the house, and I fell in love with the texture and designs. Naturally, I had to make one.
I’ve quilted off and on my entire adult life and was ecstatic when rulers, rotary cutters, and cutting mats came along. Finally, I started making quilts that I could actually finish!
